De-sentitize my foot!

And so it seems that UMNO Youth will continue with their keris-wielding antics on the upcoming party general assembly.

He says: "I feel it is important we continue to do it so that the issue becomes de-sensitised over time".

Why want to start something that would cause even more misunderstanding among the people? This only a two year old tradition anyway - if you can even call it that. To the common people, unsheathing the keris during a speech and at the same time making unwarranted comments about other races shall be conceived as a threat - simple as that.

Based on the stupidity of his logic, does this means that if we keep on questioning the special positions of the Malays, they would be de-sensitize about it? Great. Now it should be fine to openly talk about how to abolish the NEP. Perhaps now all Malaysians can start calling themselves Bumiputras. After all, if we use the term long enough, we should all be de-sensitize -AND accepted, right?
